To whomever is interested in adopting this very good boy:
To our knowledge he is a golden retriever/poodle/austrian shepard mix.
He's approximately 2 1/2 years old and 50 pounds.
His names have changed from Otis to Marshall to Makani. Which, I personally feel is the name that best fits him. It is Hawaiian for energy. And he is nothing short of.
Makani came from the South Florida Golden Rescue. He's been with a great foster/dog trainer for some time. After that he landed with myself, where he was intended to stay.
Unfortunately, I have learned over the little time I have had him that I cannot accommodate for his size or energy.
Even before knowing this energy hands on, I knew it was a part of his personality and something that should not be killed.
I do not blame him for being the dog he is. I love it. He's a happy boy.
I will be more than happy to share with you more of all I have learned from Makani the little bit of time I have been able to care for, train, foster, and love him
