Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hunter! He was recently surrendered when his family's situation changed. Hunter is a 2-year-old Cocker Spaniel that loves people! He has spent much of his life traveling the countryside; he loves car rides (except barking at passing cars) and camping! Hunter is crate-trained and walks well on a leash. He does have a few behavioral issues that could benefit from continued training. He previously lived with another dog, but after living in an apartment, he barks and lunges at any animal he sees, especially when on a leash or crated; he is exhibiting the same behavior in his foster home. He loves going for walks but will bark and chase after cars passing him. He also loves to chase the cat. That said, he is VERY lovable with all people, cuddly, and did well living with four older children. We suggest researching this breed; they require regular grooming and exercise. His new family must be patient and give him time to adjust to his new home. They should also be committed to daily exercise, continued training, and socialization.
If you are interested in adoption, DO NOT CALL; please complete an online application on 4 Paws Animal Rescue's website at www.4pawz.org. We verify the care of past/current pets. Our goal is to have the very best home for all our dogs and cats, and therefore, we reserve the right to approve or deny an application based on what we determine is in the pet's best interest.
