My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Is she not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen, with her little milk mustache? This is Joanie, and she is a 5-1/2 month old Border Collie/Aussie/Lab mix according to her DNA test. Joanie is sweet, loving, demure, and a little shy at times. She is very smart and is already starting to learn obedience commands, although she sometimes will stand on her back legs and “dance” before she’ll finally give you a good Sit. She thinks she’s a little ballerina! She loves to play with toys and other dogs, and would probably love some older children to play with. Joanie doesn’t like dogs that get too rough with her—she’s a dainty lady—but enjoys some appropriate play with other dogs. Joanie met our outdoor cat, and was very polite and gentle. Joanie currently weighs 32 pounds and will be a medium sized dog when fully grown. Joanie is in excellent health, has good energy, and a beautiful shiny coat. She has received 3 parvo/distemper vaccinations as well as Bordetella for kennel cough, has been dewormed, microchipped, and started on flea and heartworm preventatives. Joanie is available for a $300 adoption fee on a Spay contract that requires her adopter to have her spayed when she’s old enough.
