Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Juliet (I love warm laps, cuddles and other dogs)
PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing and using the “contact us” link is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. Petfinder inquires are not sent to us.
Meet Juliet, she looks like a bigger dog but she is truly small, only 15 pounds. Juliet is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet as well as excellent with other dogs of all sizes. Loves her zoomies in the fenced in yard and cuddle time. Playtime and cuddles-it is what she is about.
What else you need to know about Juliet-we don't know much about her history but she initially may be quite fearful. it may take her a few days to feel really comfortable in a new home. Thankfully she is food motivated, that helps tremendously. Not aggressive at all, but may stay out of reach so she needs a family (no young kids please) that will be patient, happy to discuss that more, it is just about using common sense. (she has been with us since November however so we do know her well, she is doing so great in the foster home and is very loved) She will feel comfortable and safer so much quicker with at least one dog in the home.

PLEASE READ-many rescue dogs are confused and scared when first adopted, they are in a brand new situation, the people are new, the home and yard are new, everything is new and terrifying. It is so important to check collars and harnesses for correct fit and hang on carefully to your brand new dog-even within a fenced yard until they are feeling more comfortable, coming over to you for scratches, etc.
APPLY AT ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG (click on the word "Adopt" at top of page to find the dropdown menu with application)
The adoption fee is $425, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped.
Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Find our application on our website, almosthomedogs.org, then click on "Adopt" tab at top
We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment.-
