Rayne had an incredibly difficult time before our rescue saved her. She came to the shelter after being hit by a car, severely malnourished, and covered in skin infection. Her right rear leg was snapped in half. After rescuing her and immediately seeking veterinary care, we learned that the leg was too far gone to be saved, and we had to amputate it to relieve her immense pain.
Rayne is doing much better now, and is MUCH happier on three legs. She'll need some time to heal, gain weight, and be spayed, but once she does, she'll need a forever home to love and receive love in return. She'll soon be the perfect cuddler to a very lucky family.
