My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Cinnamon Spice, and it would be very nice to meet you!

I am a corn snake, which is considered one of the best species for beginner snake owners! However, I have not been handled much so I am a bit unsure when being taken out. I will require some handling experience to learn how to be more social and relaxed.

I am high energy and quick moving when out, but I will spend the majority of my time in my enclosure resting, sleeping, or coiled up in a hiding space. Occasionally, I will explore my habitat, usually when I am looking for something to eat!

Though there is no way to really tell what age I am, based on my size I am considered a juvenile at about 5yrs old now. My species can live a long and healthy life of up to 10 to 20 years. Bringing me into your family is a significant commitment, for both of us!

I can get up to 3-5 ft long and weigh between 2 to 3 pounds.

I will require my own habitat that is secure with the right diet, habitat, substrate, temperature, and humidity. Don’t worry, the rescue will provide you with all the information that you will need to prepare for my arrival

My previous family wanted to give me a better home with more attention, so they surrendered me to the shelter and then transferred me to the experts at the rescue. It's been an adventure but now I am ready for my forever home. Could it be with you?

If you think we may be a good match, or you would like to get to know me better, please click the Adoption Application button below the bio on the rescue website, here is the link - https://www.smallbreedrescue.org/Home/AnimalDetails/10441
