*We cannot guarantee breed nor age.
*We are only looking to adopt Sable to an experienced owner, preferably with working dog or Doberman experience, with a commitment to hiring a trainer as this is mandatory.
*We will not allow any altering of ears or tail.
Temperament: Lively, energetic, playful and mischievous.
Activity Level: High puppy energy.
Vetting: Core vaccines (DHPP, lepto - needs boosters + rabies and bordetella), microchipped, dewormed, fecal (pending), on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Needs to be spayed. All of this will be completed while in her foster-to-adopt home.
Housebroken: She will ask to go outside and stand by the door. She will whine overnight when in her kennel to be let out. Very rare accidents.
Good with Dogs:Yes!
Good with Cats: Very playful with cats but learning to give them space!
Good with Children: Yes!
Prey drive: Very interested in prey animals like squirrels.
Response to the outdoors: Loves it!
Crate-Trained: Yes!
Response to commands: Responding well to learning commands and is eager to please. Very food motivated. Knows ‘sit’, ‘give paw’ and ‘wait’.
Are they vocal: Typically puppy noises. We cannot be certain of her vocal levels as she matures.
Leash Etiquette: Still learning how to walk on leash but great with putting on her harness.
Transportation: Great in the car and will just sleep or looks out the window. Not tested on public transit.

Sable is another dynamic and highly intelligent female in this Doberman litter. She is so brilliant that she will need an experienced owner that has the passion and drive to train her so she is her best self. She is very food motivated and learns very quickly. She loves puzzle games.
Sable’s forever home needs to be prepared for all that entails with raising a highly intelligent puppy. She will need an adopter willing to stimulate her mind as well as continue to give her boundaries to adhere too. Adopters should be prepared to puppy proof their home as Sable is in her chewing stage with teething.
A household where someone who is home more often than not, at least at the start, to help ease her into learning to be left on her own would be ideal but she does very well in her crate.
Sable loves other dogs and would love to have a doggie sibling in her forever home! They should be a well-balanced pup that is up for playtime and can show her the ropes.
Sable will surely be a ray of sunshine for her new family! All the work put into helping her grow into the best dog she can be, will be rewarded two-fold with oodles of love.
Sable is looking for a foster-to-adopt home, where she will be fostered with the commitment to adopt, until her spay and additional vetting is completed. Once she is cleared medically, then she can be officially adopted by her foster-to-adopt family! We are looking for a FTA home that will commit to taking Sable to her vet appointments for her vaccines and spay.
