My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sonic was dumped at WFOA’s facility one evening with no explanation to the dried blood on the top of his head… He seemed like a normal, healthy dog until closer examination told us he had a brain injury— at some point he had suffered a blunt force injury to his skull. Sonic is a wire haired heeler mix, and even after surviving what was most likely severe abuse, he is the sweetest boy with so much love to give. Sonic is great with people and animals. He LOVES toys and learns super quickly! Due to his traumatic past, he will have permanent impairments that slightly affect his motor skills. Though he may walk funny for the rest of his life, Sonic is the perfect dog who will light up the life of whoever adds him to their family!
