Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet CARE's 2nd longest term resident, Danny!
Danny boy here has been in the shelter environment for over 350 days and hasn't receive a single inquire for adoption! Despite that it doesn't dampen his mood and he is a dog that loves to just be there and involved if you let him. He is a refined, milled aged gentleman that loves playing with other dogs and loves his toys. He has been around many different dogs and is often the one we pick to use to test newcomers with. Although he is a tad bit older than most the dogs we have he still has plenty of energy and is always down for an adventure. He is a complete lovebug with a heart of gold that is more than ready to find a family to call his own!
Danny is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, and has tested negative after receiving heartworm treatment.

Once you meet an animal you want to adopt, you'll fill out an application. We'll read through and go over it with you. Once that's approved we'll set up a counseling session to go over all paperwork with you.
Dogs must go home in a collar and leash and cats must leave in a carrier. Both of which can be purchased at the shelter. .
