My story

Please meet Bentley, a 6 month old Border Collie mix currently being fostered in Washington DC. Bentley is 29lbs, potty trained and crate trained. He was being fostered in KY and moved to DC late October.

He’s a very smart pup who has already learned a few commands in the 2 weeks he’s been in DC. Bentley walks nicely on leash and is getting used to all of the sights and sounds of DC. He is a very sweet puppy who loves to meet people and dogs on walks. A friend cat tested with their cat and he did great! We have also taken him to our local farmers market and he is remarkably gentle with kids and babies. He rides nicely in the car so will be ready for adventures!

He is a puppy so will benefit from continued training to work on basic manners like chewing and jumping. He loves cuddles and is just a sweet, happy little guy. He is up to date on vaccines and preventatives. He is microchipped and not yet neutered as he’s not quite 6 months. He would love to be a goodest boy for your family! He would love to continue training and learning to be the best boy.

There is an additional $50 neuter deposit which will be refunded upon proof of neuter and a $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
