My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hannah has been with us for about 7 weeks, She came to us when someone found her in a field behind their office.

She spent the first few weeks alone, recuperating from a neck wound but once she healed, it wa on!

She is one of the most energetic and friendly kittens we have had and always wants to attention.

She is also a true miracle worker! She has become bonded with our resident tuxedo, "Tuxie".

Tuxie has been with us for a bit too long. He was so timid and scared, hissing at anyone who came near him, spending most of his time hiding in the cat tree in his enclosure.

Enter Hannah.

Hannah, with her outgoing personality and constant desire to play, wormed her way into his "space" as well as his heart.

Suddenly, Tuxie was out playing and romping and we were able to -momentarily- pet him!!

His hissing lessened and he actually started to purr! Now, he meets me at the door when its mealtime, with Hannah at his side. They sleep together, curled up in the cat bed, and lounge in the sun snuggled up in a ball. Thanks to Hannah, Tuxie meets us at the cage door for mealtimes and actually purrs!

Hannah is so playful and loving, and we know with time Tuxie will be as just fun as she is, maybe even more so!

While we also know it's harder to adopt out a bonded pair, the thought of separating these two, and sending Tuxie back to being scared and alone is unthinkable.

They both have so much love to give, especially Tuxie...he just needs a chance!
