Adele is the most terrified of our recent puppy mill rescues and will need a very patient person. She loves other dogs and follows and cuddles with them, but jumps away from human hands and clearly never had good experiences with them. She’s a 7lb morkie about 8-10 years old. She’s been spayed and her teeth were so rotted that they ALL had to be removed during her dental! But she probably feels much better without that longtime chronic source of pain and infection. Adele is looking for a calm adult home with at least one other small dog companion to help guide her. Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
