Trixie was born 2/10/2023 and spent her formative months confined in a commercial breeding facility. Due to lack of socialization she is still very shy and afraid of many things but in her foster home she is learning the joys of soft blankets, squeaky toys, and yummy treats and snacks.

Trixie will require a patient family to allow her to progress at her pace, and a playful resident canine in her forever home as a companion and to model appropriate canine behavior. A securely fenced yard is also a requirement for her safety as she would be a flight risk if not contained.

The suggested adoption donation for Trixie is a minimum of $600 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise.
