My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Let me introduce you to Danny. Danny is a 4-year-old neutered male and weighs 7 lbs. Danny is current on all his vaccinations and is ready to go to his permanent home to be loved and cared for. He came to Rocky Mountain Yorkie Rescue through the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region.

Since being in foster care, Danny has shown that he loves to be loved. He will sleep with you at night without a peep. He is housebroken and will come to you and sit up on his hind legs to go outside or when he wants a treat. Sweet, adorable Danny enjoys his walks and snuggling with his humans and loves to play chase. He will alert you when someone visits or is on your property.

We are requesting that “Danny Boy” be placed in a home with a secured fenced yard. We also require a stay-at-home adult or someone who works from home. He would do best as the only dog in your home, he has been with another small dog. However, he prefers being the only one to get all the attention he can get. NO BIG DOGS. Per our policy, no children under the age of ten.
