Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Frenchie with floppy ears! Super social, Energetic, funny and smart. He loves to play and get attention from his family. He loves having another dog to play with and keep him company. He enjoys his playdates with other dogs and short walks. Gordy is a silly Frenchie whose ears never stood up.I met both parents and his mom only had one ear up. He is beautiful. Owner surrender only because of a major family emergency / death in family. He’s such happy, loving, gentle dog and would be a great pet for anyone!
Cross listed as a pug even though he’s a Frenchie because of his ears; he will appeal to pug lovers too!
The rescue has covered the cost of his neuter, AKC microchip, harness, permanent reunification id tags, rabies vaccination (& distemper parvo shot) PLEASE NO CALLS OR TEXTS AS WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS, COMPLETE AN APPLICATION IF INTERESTED: saveabowwow.com/rescue/adoption-form If listed, dog is available. Once dog is pending adoption, this page will reflect that information.
Note: All breeds and ages are our veterinarians best educated guess (unless otherwise stated that our group has breeder paperwork)
Fine Print:
-All of our French bulldogs must be walked with a harness (never on a neck collar).
-The rescue requires adoptive family to obtain pet insurance for coverage of congenital and hereditary conditions. This is for any of the dogs in our rescue identified as a French Bulldog or a Frenchie Mix. Adoption will be finalized once the proof of pet insurance requirement is met. (There are some great policies ranging between $28-40 per month)
-We have an open door policy and are always here to discuss anything that may arise with your adoptive pet. After an adoption is conducted please do not hesitate to reach out.
-Please no texts or calls, apply if interested.
-This breed generally speaking cannot swim and will sink like bowling balls so we do not adopt out to any homes with unfenced pools.
