My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: Chihuahua mix
Female, 7 years old (estimated), 11 pounds

The regal Duchess is ready to be pampered in a palace of her own, but could benefit from some time off her throne in order to achieve her optimal health. After living on the streets, it's no surprise that Duchess is relieved to just relax at home. We are confident that some nice strolls around the block will do her a world of good. She gets along just fine with other dogs (including the many dogs in her foster home), but she prefers watching dogs from a comfortable distance. Not a fan of rambunctious puppy energy, Dutchess appreciates creatures that are small, quiet, and as calm as she is.

This sweet girl's dream is to find a sunny spot and a soft bed in a peaceful home. She is also looking for a forever person who will work with her on weight management, gently increasing her activity level.

After being found as a stray, Duchess came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services.
