Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
(We adopt all over the US and offer transport if needed as long as travel costs are covered)
Meet Chance. He is a 4 month old 32 pound purebred golden retriever. Yes, he is a big boy and is expected to double in size; and then some. He is at a very healthy weight nonetheless. He is current on all age appropriate vaccines, and has had all 5 sets of his da2pp vaccines which include the parvo vaccines, his bordatella vaccine, and his rabies. All are good for 1 year. He is microchipped, has been dewormed, and had a wonderful exam with our vet who is sending home a health certificate for him.
He is already crate trained, and sleeps in his crate every night without any fuss at all. He is leash trained as well and LOVES walking around our property any chance he gets. Leash training has been a natural learning curve for him, he truly just took the lead, and never looked back. He is doing phenomenal on house training and goes outside every couple of hours to potty if needed. He is your typical water loving boy! He loves hanging out on the steps in the shallow end of our pool. He loves to play tug of war, or to chase balls. He is PHENOMENAL with all dogs and cats alike. He met the office cars at my vets hospital and it was the absolute sweetest reaction. He is a true socialite. He loves everyone he meets, and welcomes them with love. He is NOT a barker. Listens extremely well. And LOVES to learn!! He is a gem of a dog, and has extraordinary potential to even become a service dog if needed. He is destined to become someone's best friend, and to complete their world in a way they didn't know it needed. I cannot say enough great things about him, and I'm certain once you meet him you will feel the same from the very first greeting. He knows sit, and shake already. He has great recall, and always comes when called. He rides phenomenal in the car around town, and does very well with bathtime.
His adoption fee and its breakdown is on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org
Please email us with a good contact number, and name and we will reach out to you as quickly as we can. Thank you!!!
(He will be going home on a neuter contract. Details will be broken down on our website.)
