Valero is a friendly kitten who has flourished in her foster home. She is a clever and spunky girl who loves head scritches and pets. She wags her tail with excitement and purrs and chirps to greet you. Valero is also a weirdo who is on a quest to catch her own tail. To this day, she will spin and spin and spin, but has not caught it yet! Valero is a curious explorer and great with other cats. She does not like to be picked up and is not a fan of loud noises or crowds. But she does love to loaf and purr by your side on a quiet evening.
Valero would be best suited for adopters who can be patient with her at first. She may do OK in a home with older, cat-savvy and patient kiddos, but younger or very small kids would likely be too much for her. She would love to be adopted with her foster friend, American Natural, or go to a home with another friendly resident cat who can show her the ropes.
Valero is estimated to be about a year old. She has been spayed, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Please apply to adopt this shy but sweet kitty today!

Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
