Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Allie, or Allie-Gator, or sometimes Allie-Cat, but usually just “Gator,”…and yes, I know my nicknames! My foster parents assumed I was a boy, so I was “Alfie” for a few weeks, until the vet at my first checkup told them I’m definitely a girl. Fun fact: about 80% of Orange Tabbies are boys!
I, like my two litter mates and bonus sister Chloe, used to be feral (born in March in a backyard in south Houston), but now I’m a complete snuggle bug with my humans…and will at times adorably force my way in if someone else is getting attention. OK, OK, “at times” means as often as possible, but I seem to be learning to wait my turn! Well…most of the time.
Speaking of cats, I get along well with the two grown cats in the house, unless I’m being a punk, and then I’ll be told to sit in the corner by the girl cat via a no-claw slap or hiss. The boy cat is also a redhead, so as kindred spirits, he just calmly deals with the chaos that is 4 foster kittens. We had a couple of tragic experiences with a dog while we were living outside, so houses with pups may or may not be a good fit…but I have never met a dog since, so who knows!
I was the first of my foster siblings to realize my foster parents just wanted to keep me safe and give me love. In fact, when I was only a couple weeks old, I gave my now-foster mom slow blinks (kisses) even while hiding in the backyard we were born in.
If you happen to have a stand-alone bathtub, we will be best friends furr-ever! My foster parents’ grown boy cat showed me how to drink from the faucet, as long as it’s trickling! My brother, Loki, also likes to do it, but he hasn’t quite gotten the hang of it just yet. Chloe and Carey just watch while I show off.
Like everyone else in my little family, my favorite snacks are Churus, any flavor! I will grab my human’s hand to bring it closer to me…yum, yum! Also, if I am hungry, I will let you know, but I don’t make a meal of it (haha). So far, I will meow for food/snacks, but only minimally/within reason.
I’m a beautiful shorthaired baby with a luxurious white ruff collar (Carey has the same one!) and orange fur with stripes and some spots! I have been spayed, and like my siblings, tested negative for Feline Leukemia, and I’ve had my rabies shot and am microchipped.
