Meet Freddy! Watch His Videos!

Freddy may give off the aloof stare but don`t buy it! This senior gent was adopted from us in January of 2024 and returned recently to no fault of his own. Since his return, Freddy has shown us a little of his flirty personality and that he loves quiet attention (watch his video!). Freddy also loves napping, bird watching, and sleeping on the coziest bed provided. Oh and CATNIP, Freddy loves catnip! Freddy did live with other cats but we think he might prefer being the only pet in his golden years. Freddy just wants a patient, quiet adult-only home to live out his golden years. Could it be yours?

Freddy is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped, and seen by our vet team.

The Animal Rescue League of Boston is committed to matching adoptable animals with a permanent home. Our conversation-based, application-free adoption process is designed so that the needs of both the animal and the adopter are understood and compatible with one another. We require the following as part of the adoption process:
* Adopter must be 18 years of age or older
* A current government-issued ID (no student IDs)
* Have a conversation with an ARL adoption counselor
* A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird
