My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Buck! He is about 3 years old, 51 lbs and he is likely a German Wirehaired Pointer. He is being surrendered because he is not getting along with the resident male dog. In his home, he is doing great with crate and house training and is known to pull on leash. He could go to a home with kids 10+. No cats or other dogs please! He needs a very active family and ideally a fenced in yard. Breed experience a plus.

His foster says, `Buck has a huge personality! He’s extremely playful and loves the outdoors. He also loves people and makes the silliest faces that will always have you laughing. He’s extremely eager, affectionate, and just wants to make his human happy.`

His MA foster says: Buck is a super sweet boy who just wants to make his human happy. He`s extremely playful, and loves the outdoors. He`s smart, and is picking up training quickly. As a very high-energy pup, he needs a very active home with people who will exercise his brain with enrichment just as much as they exercise him physically. He`s good with other dogs at home but is working on reactivity while on leash, so he will need someone excited and willing to continue his training. He`d do best with someone who`s home most of the day.`

He is available for adoption with an approved adopter in Quincy by appointment. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
