My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toby is a three year old Jack Russell Terrier mix who is available for adoption to homes in Orange County. This sweet boy loves attention and pets. He ended up at-risk of euthanasia at the Riverside Shelter prior to our organization pulling him. He was reportedly found as a stray bu was wearing a collar, so he was someone's dog. They never came for him.

He seems to have likely been an outdoor dog as he is the happiest being outdoors. However, he is adjusting to the "good life" of being safe and comfortable inside. He's learning what dog beds are, is getting the hang of being in a crate, and is learning basic manners.

Toby needs a patient home with people who are around most of the time and who are willing to help him with training. He's a smart little guy with loads of potential, and he's going to make someone very happy to have him as their pup!

Toby will officially be available for adoption after his neuter surgery on 11/16, but we are accepting applications for him now so that we can quickly get him into a home where he can settle in permanently. Please fill out an application on our website if you are interested in adopting Toby!
