My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our daughter is in the military and was getting transferred. She was going to turn Kona into a shelter because they told her they had no room left to pet transfers and it was too expensive to ship him oversees. We agreed to watch him for her instead until she returns because he is such a good dog. She has since decided that she does not want him back. We are older. Kona has been used to a home with children who have snuggled with him when they were sick or feeling down or play with them when they were happy and energetic. Kona loves to fetch and herd. He is super friendly and intelligent. He learned the house rules quickly. He loves to play, whether it's chasing a ball or joining you in the pool. He is the perfect family pet. Our lives are just too busy to give him the time and attention he deserves. He will be your best friend and just wants to be where you are. He loves his kennel, so if you have to leave him alone, he is ok as long as he has that. Other animals ok.
