ABOUT RONITAS
Meet our handsome black and white kitty, Ronitas! He came to HAP when he was found as a stray. We attempted to find his owners, but sadly no one came looking for him. Our vet estimates he is about 5 years old and has previously lived in a home, based on his demeanor. Ronitas has a tough exterior and may act like a big boy at times, but spend a few moments with him and he is a sweet man. Ronitas loves to play and chase after wand toys. He often behaves more like a dog than a cat, preferring to tackle and wrestle with any toy that crosses his path. Once he's released some playful energy, he shows off his affectionate side. He enjoys petting and neck scratches. While he can be picked up, he's not a fan of being carried around or held for long periods. Ronitas can be too rough for most other cats, so a home as your only kitty would be best!
If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
