Puppy FAQs:

Q: How old are they?
A: They were born on 7/29/23.

Q: What are they mixed with?
A: We don’t know! Their mom is a brindle pit mix (picture included). She was found and brought to the shelter pregnant. We do not know what breed the father is.

Q: How big are they?
A: They will grow to be large dogs.

Q: What is the adoption fee?
A: All LHBR puppies 6 months and younger have an adoption fee of $450.

Q: When do I pay the fee?
A: Adopters are required to pay the fee and sign the contract at the time of the meet and greet. We will not “hold” puppies without this.

Q: Can I meet the puppies?
A: Not without an approved application! You can find the link to the application below.

Q: Will the puppies have vaccines?
A: The puppies will come with all age appropriate vaccines (Bordetella, Distemper, Rabies) . They will also be fixed through our vet. Adopters are required to meet with rescue transport for the appointment if the puppy is brought home before they are fixed. Additional booster vaccines as they age are the responsibility of the adopter.
