Sylvie first came to Heal as a very shy teenager and has watched cats come and go while hiding in her cubie house. It sure would be nice to have a home for her senior years. Sylvie would fit best in a mellow home without too much excitement. She does get a little nervous in louder situations, but with patience and love she will blossom into the best cat ever.

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned and abused dogs and cats. It depends on donations, sponsorships and other tangible support from local residents and businesses.

Our vision is a self sustaining, no-kill shelter which will house the animals until they find their forever home. Additionally, it is our goal to breed awareness, stimulate education and inspire the public to become animal advocates.
