Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! I'm Whisper, and not to brag or anything but I am a really smart pup. I love to be as close as I possibly can to people so I can get the maximum amount of pats and scratches possible! And if that means sitting on your head, I am perfectly willing to make that sacrifice. I LOVE LOVE LOVE going to dog parks and playing with other dogs. I really like to be with dogs that can run fast so we can play chase! Fetch is also one of my love languages. I'm kennel trained, and I'll even go hang out in my kennel on my own to just chill sometimes. I'm a master at all of the basic commands. I'm even getting a hang of "leave it and "wait during mealtime! I'be pretty much nailed potty training at this point. So long as I know my bathroom schedule I can stick to it! Though I might forget every once in a while that I just went #2 and step in it without thinking. Then I have to go in the dreaded tub of hot water. My last thing I'm still working on with my foster parents is gentle play time. I'm a rugby player at heart so I just assume everyone wants to play tackle! But if I get some of my energy out before playing others that helps a ton. All in all I just want a home where I can run and maybe play with another pup or two! I am sure I will find that some day!
Whisper is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Adopting from The Love Pit means gaining a family member. It means gaining a network of pit bull advocates, ready to support you and provide you with all of the resources we can. Most importantly, adopting from The Love Pit saves lives. When you adopt, you're saving the life of your own dog, opening space in their foster home for another shelter dog in need, and creating space in the shelter kennel for a dog whose life would have otherwise been on the line. Your thanks for all the good you've done? Lots of love and pit bull kisses to enjoy for years to come.
