Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maple is a sweet, cuddly, athletic, energetic, and smart puppy. She just turned 1 year in March!
She is a 50 pound cuddle bug and loves to curl up under covers. Being a puppy and part pit she does love to chew :) Always needs a bone! She is house and crate trained. She does very well with training and currently uses a gentle leader around her snout that keeps her from
pulling. She now walks on her owner's left side and does not pull, but is working on her reactivity when seeing other dogs on the leash, which she is also improving on. Maple would do great with someone who is just as active as her. She loves to go on long walks and playing fetch! She is incredibly loyal and it breaks her owner's heart to let her go. Unfortunately their older dog fights with her. Maple really is a great puppy and will make someone an excellent best friend. She deserves a fun and happy life.
Maple is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Adopting from The Love Pit means gaining a family member. It means gaining a network of pit bull advocates, ready to support you and provide you with all of the resources we can. Most importantly, adopting from The Love Pit saves lives. When you adopt, you're saving the life of your own dog, opening space in their foster home for another shelter dog in need, and creating space in the shelter kennel for a dog whose life would have otherwise been on the line. Your thanks for all the good you've done? Lots of love and pit bull kisses to enjoy for years to come.
