This remarkable dog was discovered abandoned in a rural area where he had endured exposure to the rain for an indeterminate period. Concerned passersby initially suspected he was injured, but upon my arrival, he eagerly hopped into my car and indulged in an entire box of treats. He's proven to be the most entertaining, affectionate, and intelligent companion I've ever encountered. His teeth bear the marks of neglect rather than age-related wear, and we estimate his age to be around 4-5 years. He adores car rides, and walks, and remains a loyal, dependable companion who never strays far. He is fully house-trained, adept at using a pet door, and gets along famously with other dogs.
One of his ears has a distinctive appearance due to a past illness or injury that went untreated, but our vet has addressed it, and it appears to be in good condition now, although it will retain its unique appearance.
If you're interested in welcoming Knuckles or any of our Funny Farm friends into your home, please visit funnyfarmpets.org to learn more about our Tennessee-based rescue, the adoption process, the comprehensive vetting procedures these pets undergo before they come to your home, and to submit an adoption application.
The adoption fee for this pet is $325, and an additional $200 is required for transport. Currently located in a foster home in Tennessee, this pet will be transported to a northern location after the adoption process is finalized. For details on meeting locations and the transport process, please visit the transport tab at funnyfarmpets.org.

More about this rescue
Funny Farm Rescue Ranch is a 501c3 all volunteer rescue in TN. We rescue pets from all types of situations. Then we rehabilitate them and fully vet them and get them ready to go to their forever homes. We also educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter because of our huge pet overpopulation problem and the high number of healthy, adoptable pets having to be euthanized on a daily basis because there simply aren't enough homes. We do it because we love these animals and are devoted to this cause.
