Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
BACKGROUND: My rescue story starts in an LA Fitness parking lot where I used to roam. I made friends with the gym members who started calling me “Tortie.” (They get a D+ for creativity.) Thinking I needed a safer place, someone asked The Rescue House to take me in. I went into foster care in the nick-of-time because I was pregnant! I delivered four of the most beautiful babies you’ll ever see. Oh, and we finally got proper names after the fun, animated series “Steven Universe!” Fast forward to today, my kittens have all found their new homes and I can’t wait to find a forever family of my own!
PERSONALITY: I had a blast raising my kittens and bonding with my foster parents. However, I am ready for the real thing! Who wouldn’t want a warm and cozy home where humans love you all the time? A home comes with things like windows which are awesome, because they make the sunbeams nice and warm while I do my bird-watching. Homes also come with people who give me pets and attention. When I’m ready to be pampered, I’ll rub all over you and shove your hand into my face! I understand when you might be busy with things like chores or work. I’ll usually just find a soft spot to lounge and wait patiently. Being a cat, I don’t always want to be patient and that’s when I resort to this nifty trick that I taught my foster parents: If I meow loudly, someone will eventually pay attention to me. Humans can be so smart! Sometimes, if I meow the magic words, a tasty Churu treat will suddenly appear out of thin air. My secret power is my adorable chirps. No one can resist them!
COMPATIBILITY: After proper introductions, I get along with other felines, preferably those that are older and mellow. Given my background, I’d likely be fearful of dogs. I’m a bit timid and can be jumpy when faced with sudden movements. As for children, I’d do best with teenagers or older kids with gentle hands.
I’m starting my own hit series called, “Rose Quartz and her Forever Family!” Would you like to be my co-star?
