My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chiquita is a 15 year old senior Chihuahua that came to us with some special needs. She will need another fur sibling to help show her the ropes and some people who just want to love on a sweet little lady. If you're looking for a low energy pup that will thrive with a daily routine, Chiquita is your girl! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.October 14, 2024, 10:13 pm

More about this rescue

Our goal is to save dogs at the local shelters in the Dallas \ Fort Worth Metroplex from euthanasia and adopt them to the public. We spay / neuter these dogs as well as provide all necessary medical care. We also educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We love dogs and our goal is to reduce / eliminate euthanisias being done in this area by shelters due to overcrowding.
