Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ralphie! He is like a 20 pound Yorkie. He is a Yorkie-beagle mix. 1 year old.
Ralphie got blastomycosis. His eyes were flaming balls of pain. He was slated for euthanasia. Until he wasn't.
His owners let me have him instead.
He went through a double enucleation.
His old family paid for a lot of this cost.
Vaccinated, neutered, hw tested, and microchipped.
Personality? OMG. I have worked with Ralphie for the last weeks to get him acclimated from his surgery.
I take him everywhere, he has this magnetic force to bring people together. He swims, he play fights with other dogs, he presses his body up against people. He knows the words "Step" and "Fall". Step means there are steps, fall is walk slowly for inclines.
He has a beagle nose. He has a beagle howl when he gets excited.
My goal for Ralphie is to go to a person who works with people in the social services setting. He would be a great dog to be taken to groups, special events, and just bring fun and joy.
Ralphie is good with cats and other dogs.
I get feel good chemicals, serotonin, dopamine, etc from Ralphie. When he naps, he pushes his whole being against you. I think "HOW LUCKY AM I TO KNOW THIS DOG".
Ralphie is living his best life in a holler in Middle Tennessee.
A big shout out to Dr. Smith who did his surgery so flawlessly. You saved him.
