My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cashew has an independent personality like many cats. She’s playful and hide and seek is one of her favorite games. As an indoor cat she loves to chase as well as gaze out the window. She will accept petting in short spurts and curl up when she’s ready. One year ago as we we were walking our dog we passed a storm drain when a young 8 week kitty emerged to the street so clean and perfect. The little kitty let me lift her in my arms as if she knew she wanted a home and family. We reached out in hopes that someone would be looking but no one came forward. We provided shelter and medical attention in the meanwhile as we waited. Days became weeks and the name Cashew was given. Cashew grew up with our large dog Summer and they get along swimmingly. Cashew is crate trained and an all around awesome cat. Since our daughter relocated out of state, as empty-nesters, we are preparing for our next chapter and wish to find a forever family for Cashew. Bed, carrier, scratch post and toys included.
