Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Nutmeg is a handsome boy who is looking for a special, quiet home where he can gain his confidence and become the kitty we know he is. He is super playful with volunteers and loves treats, just not so much petting and definitely no holding, but we believe he is open to change in the right environment. Do you have a spare window for him to gaze at the birds? Do you have a quiet spot to read a book and allow him the time to know he is safe and loved and he will snuggle next to you? He has been with us for going on 2 years and has made huge strides! We want him to spend the rest of his life with his person/family giving him all the love and attention. We know his home is out there someplace.
Nutmeg and his sister Joy both came to us as feral 14 week old kittens who were not ready to be indoors. Their wild side was harder to tame, which it has, but the trust in people has been slow to earn, but once you get it, they both provide love and entertainment. They just need that special home, special family, to give them a chance.
Nutmeg is neutered, up to date with vaccines, deworming, flea/tick preventative. He is negative for feline AIDS and leukemia.
