My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dorothea is such a sweet kitty! She loves to be petted but isn't a big fan of being held just yet. She is a little shy with new people and places, so will take a little time to adjust in a new home. She loves to lounge in a cozy cat bed and get all of the treats!

Dorothea is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and healthy (felv negative)

More about this rescue

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
