My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Capone, or as his foster call him "Capo", loves to love! This land-seal happily greets everyone he meets and does the best full-body wiggles. He has been doing amazing in his foster home and treats them to his world class snores and zoomies. He is content in his crate when his fosters are busy but loves to follow them around the house or crash on the couch with them when they watch tv. Capo wants nothing more than to be with his people. Ask to meet Capo and we are sure you'll be fast friends, maybe even friends for life!

More about this shelter

We serve the pets and people in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is clear: To take responsibility for each and every orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dog and cat which reaches our doors; to take them in and shelter them; to provide the best medical and physical care possible for them; to nurture them back to health if need be; and finally to place them into warm, loving, adoptive homes where they can enjoy the lives they deserve.
