My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maple is 1 year old. We originally adopted her at an early age, But we soon realized she is blind at birth. The original owner had no clue, Untill we took her to the vet for her puppy vacinations. She is a playful dog, at 1 year old she does well with children as we have 2 todlers. And does very well with other dogs. (Small breed). Naturally shes curious about her enviroment when shes indoors. And does like to explore with her nose. When shes outdoors she does like to stick close to you and will only explore when she knows some one is there. She reponds well to her name. She is for the most part house broken, Altough, she does have accidents naturally for being a blind dog. But we find its better to take her out as often as possible to avoid these accidents. We are hoping to find some one who, works from home or has a less busy schedule than others. Since shes still only 1 year old we are hoping to find her a loving home who has some experince dealing with animals with special needs
