My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frankie was surrendered by her owners due to their children having allergies. She has stayed in our program for a while with the intention of having her donated to a school district to use as a therapy dog for their students; however, that did not work out due to the district's lack of personnel.

Frankie is EXTREMELY active and high energy. She loves to play all day and will play fetch until she drops. She doesn't quite have enough drive or focus to be a working detection dog, but she would more than likely excel in flyball, dock diving, or something similar.

Franke LOVES people. She is great with all people and submissive. She loves children but may knock them down since she likes to lean into you and wiggle her butt ALL THE TIME. She's also great with other dogs. Some other dogs don't like her energy level, but Frankie seems to get along with all the other dogs whether or not they care for her.

Frankie will play with other dogs and toys all day, but, she also wants to be where her people are. She'll be your shadow and happily follow you around all day.

Frankie definitely needs an active household and room to run! She loves the water too so a pool or visits to a pond/lake would be fun for her as well.

She is up to date on shots, spayed, heart worm negative, crate trained, and uses a dog door well.
