If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
An incredibly sweet, affectionate cat. He's 4 or 5 yrs old. He's temporarily living in a home w/ dogs/cats and is doing very well. He's very sweet with a kitten he lives with now - he loves to play w/him!
We are moving to another continent. We'll provide you w/ food for 6+ months + most other needed supplies.
He purrs a lot - loudly. He adjusted well to living in a house with just 1 other cat for 2 years, but he also does well with more cats (and with dogs). He could live as an only pet if you are around enough to give him pets / sit near him. He'll follow you and often comes when you call his name, a bit like a dog. He likes to come sit next to you / be petted. He's happy and mellow.
Due to his early life in a hoarding situation, he can eat too quickly / try to steal a cat’s food because he is scared that he might not get food again. He does ok left alone for periods of time (he was okay with this) – about 8-12 hours in an extreme case. We can give more info - out of space here.
