Meet Toro, a stunning tri-color Siberian Husky. Isn't he handsome, with his brown tips and lovely mask?

Toro was in the shelter for 4 months. He was kenneled with another dog. Can you imagine a breed that loves to run and roam being confined to a small kennel with a roommate? Poor guy.
Toro tolerated shelter life like a champ. He was shown to several families with older kids (he did great!) but nothing stuck. We rescued him and got him to foster, and he's been THRIVING! He loves pack walks with other dogs. He can be face-shy, and seems he never learned how to play but he loves watching other dogs frolic.

Toro is 3 years old and house trained. He'd do fine with a couple daily neighborhood walks (Husky-savvy people are a BONUS!). An active family or couple with a big yard would be pure delight for Toro!
