Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Rainbow has been progressing well here on our West campus. She continues to be on track for our Hearing Assistance program and her expected graduation date is November of this year. Rainbow has shown great obedience and a desire to learn. She has a drive for sound work and enjoys the work. In public, we are working on her attention barking and greetings.
As mentioned, Rainbow has wonderful obedience. She is working mainly around dog distractions and heeling as she forges ahead occasionally. In sound work, she is working on her handler alert and is already going to the sound on her own! All we have to do is piece the two together and she's on her way! Her attention barking has become more prevalent in public as she gets more comfortable with her handler and the facility she is in. So we continue to work it in public, along with her crating behaviors.
Rainbow loves her roommate, Clover! They get along so well, and I've seen them snuggling together on the same bed. In the play groups, Rainbow is a playful force that invites everyone to play. She brings toys to the other dogs in training and if someone is 'left out' of the group, she'll go over and engage with them.
Rainbow has such a sweet face! Even when attention barking, she's quite cute! She does well in public and has gone to the airport, the farmer's market, and a few grocery stores. She's appropriate with strangers and prances around proudly out in public.
Thank you for giving Rainbow such a PAWSitive start!
She could not have made it this far without your hard work and dedication!
