Legend is an incredibly sweet cuddle bug who loves to give kisses and hugs to her people and loves to go for walks! She is a sensitive soul who can be nervous around new people and new surroundings, she needs a confident owner who will help her overcome her fears and set expectations for her so that she can rely on structure to help with her nerves.

Legend is potty trained and walks great on a leash and knows all of her basic commands. She gets along well with calm, respectful dogs, who will give her time to warm up. She does need slower intros with new dogs as she will be nervous at first.

Legend would do best in a home with no small children, but is not aggressive towards kids, the loud noises and fast movements just make her nervous and she would be most comfortable in an adult only home or possibly teenage age kids rather than young children.

Legend is really the sweetest dog with a little patience and TLC, She just needs a little time to come out of her shell. Once she does, you'll never get her out of your lap!

Please complete our online adoption application if you wish to apply for one of our adoptable pets. Adoption fees range from $125 to $350. All dogs adopted from PAWS come with 1 months of free day care at KCPaws All pets adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to their release.

We are an organization determined to work for the benefit of animals in need. Whether it be helping to find new homes for our adoptable friends or working in connection with local and City agency's to investegate cases of cruelty and neglect. We have a large facility and staff that is able to handle a wide variety of these types of issues as well as working with animals with behavioral, socialization, or training issues.
