Cookies in the morning

Cookies make me happy

Cookies When you’re happy
Cookies when you’re sad
Cookies by the plateful
Cookies make me glad!

We have a very sweet Cookie that you can spend as much time as you want with and not have to count calories.

Meet Cookie, the mom to our Christmas cookie and girl scout cookie litters.

Cookie had been a stray in Memphis for a long time. It has been almost two years since we were contacted about her. With the help of concerned citizens, patience and two litters of puppies later we finally caught Cookie and brought her into rescue.

She is ready to find her forever home and enjoy retirement from having babies. She was a great mom and kept her babies safe and loved. She deserves the same kind of devotion and love in her new home.

Cookie is a very sweet girl that can be a little shy at first. She just needs time to know that she is safe and loved. Cookie enjoys treats, toys and a good belly rub if you have a moment.

Cookie is crate trained, house trained and has pretty good house manners.

If you think this sweet girl would make a great addition to your family use the link below to apply.

ADOPTION INFORMATION:
We are a foster-based animal rescue and we thank you for your interest in one of our animals. Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need.
If you are interested in one of our animals, please complete an application. The application link can be found on our Petfinder homepage under the picture. You may also find our application on our website at www.petmatchmakerrescue.com under the Adopt page. If they are listed on our website, their adoptions have not been finalized yet. That does not mean that we have not received several applications, already. Please complete an application if you are interested and we will keep you apprised of their current status. We are all volunteers that work full-time jobs, so please be patient with us. We will get back with you as quickly as possible.

More about this rescue

We are a 100% volunteer, foster-based rescue group in Bartlett, Tennessee.

Our main objective is to save animals from being surrendered or euthanized, especially seniors and those with medical needs. We also find ourselves bottle feeding, stopping for a stray and saving animals that are out of time in shelters every day. We wish we could save them all, but unfortunately we are limited by the lack of space, fosters and donations. Any financial donations we receive are tax deductible and go towards helping very deserving animals.

Our rescue group offers a sanctuary for animals on their journey to a new forever home. We will make every effort to match you with your new best friend. We work diligently to learn everything we can about each rescue animal, so that our fosters can help you find the perfect fit. All of our animals are fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to join their new families and forever homes.

We keep in touch with our adopters and love to receive updates with pictures whenever possible. We realize that many animals will get several applications, while others will not be easily adopted. We strive to find the perfect match for you and our rescue animals. We hope you understand that not everyone will be approved, and many times there will be more applications than animals. We will encourage you to look at other animals in our rescue that matches your needs. We are constantly seeking adopters that believe as we do, that these are new family members for many years to come.

We also understand that it takes a tremendous amount of trust to adopt a dog that you have not met firsthand. That same trust applies to us and our fosters in sending our precious animal. We are very careful in choosing families that have demonstrated this philosophy and who we believe will provide the same amount of love and level of care that they have received with us. We do not take this lightly and we will probably ask more questions than you may expect. Please understand that we do this out of love and commitment for our rescue animal.

We are happy to answer questions, but please remember that we all have full time jobs, families and many animals that we are working to save daily. We will respond as quickly as possible.

We primarily use two veterinary clinics in Memphis, TN. You are welcome to call either of them for a reference. They are Family Veterinary Practice at (901) 385-VETS and Memphis Animal Clinic at (901) 272-7411.
