Allen!
This distinguished gent is Allen. Allen is an adorable one-eyed 6 yr old golden retriever who recenly joined us from a commercial farm where he was used as a stud. We can't wait to see him as a spoiled family member, instead of a money maker. although there is no doubt that his offspring would have been very cute.

Allen is getting used to the routine at DTR and while he is pretty easy going and friendly with everyone he meets he does want to be as close as possible to his human friends (making him extra difficult to photograph). He's just sweet and low key and on the lookout for his people. He promises he has lots of love to give in return.
Allen is doing well with us in a kennel. He likely will need help with housebreaking and getting used to the indoor life, but we have no doubt he will take to it all right away. Allen is social with other dogs, mostly just peacefully coexisting with them but sweet.

Allen will be fully vetted as part of his adoption fee including neuter, vaccinations microchipping and heartworm testing.
