The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat!
PHOEBE and her brother TEDDY were saved in El Segundo, California. Our independent trapper friend called saved the 2 young kittens stuck under a large truck container. Fast forward to a few months back, the rescue that was suppose to take them fell through. SO she called us. And we are so glad she did.
Meet PHOEBE, a charming cat from El Segundo, California, whose personality is as vibrant as her multicolored Calico coat. With her signature patches of orange, black, and white, PHOEBE is a walking masterpiece, ready to bring her unique quirks and playful spirit to a new loving home.
PHOEBE is a delightful mix of playful energy and sweet shyness. She has a quirky sense of humor, often seen chasing her tail or leaping dramatically after a stray feather. Her play sessions are like a comedy show in your living room! While she loves her toys and a good game of pounce, PHOEBE also has a timid side. New sounds or sudden movements might send her scampering to her favorite cozy hiding spot, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she always finds her way back.

3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

NOVEMBER 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.
Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 4 pm - 7 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.

The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.
Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.
