Meet Josie! She is a beautiful black and white parti poodle. She is 1 year of age, and weighs 38 lbs. She is spayed, and due to being in heat there was an in heat spay increase due to longer anesthesia time, and extra IV fluids. She also had a dental cleaning done, and was given an antibiotic shot to help her through the healing process post surgery. She is fully vaccinated, had both ears plucked/flushed, and is microchipped as well. Her overall wellness exam went perfect, and she has been cleared to find a home by 11/2/23 or anytime after as long as the new adopting family is okay taking over her recovery.
She is a complete sweetheart! Loves to run and play, and gets excited for any type of engagement she gets with her person, whether chasing after balls, or simply just hanging out while you are out gardening. She is a water lover, and loves trips to the beach. She is a phenomenal dog, and gets along with all animals, including cats! She is very sweet with people, and loves everyone she meets. She is very outgoing, and extremely affectionate. She has amazing house manners. She is crate trained, and sleeps in her crate at night. She is wonderful out of the crate too, so it's not needed in her next home if you would want her to be bedside instead. She is leash trained, and walks very well on leash. She is house trained, and goes in and out when she needs to, and will tell you when she has to use the restroom. She is very smart, and aims to please. Her spirit is as beautiful as she is, and once you meet her, you will know what a special soul she is. Her prior owners unfortunately were moving and their new place wouldn't allow them to take her. She has been loved and well cared for her entire life, and it shows ❤️
