Sweet, sassy Ava is looking for a friend to share the last few licks of the ice cream bowl! Ava was found as a very young kitten and was bottle-fed by her original family. She loves to lap water right from the faucet, and will quietly supervise you in the restroom, just to make sure everything is okay.
Ava enjoys the company of dogs, and may even sneak in a snuggle when they’re not looking! She loves meat and cheese, laser pointers and teaser toys, but is just as content curling up between your feet in bed. Ava will happily assist with any work-at-home tasks, as she makes an excellent paperweight.
This sweet girl would be happiest as the only cat in the home.
***Ava is currently attacking other cats in the home. She had previously attacked our oldest cat, but I originally thought our oldest cat was provoking it. It isn’t a constant problem, but we introduced a kitten into the home who needed to be nursed back to health, and she has been attacking him as well. She would do best in a single-cat household. Dogs should be just fine, she absolutely loves our dog. She rubs up against him, rolls on her back next to him and will occasionally even snuggle with him. She’s a very sweet girl, and I’m recently paying more attention and learning that she gets stressed and lashes out in a multi-cat situation. I had to make a decision between rehoming her, a young, healthy cat, or both of my other cats, an 8-year old overweight lady and a 6 month old crazy kitten. As much as it hurts me, it just made sense to find Ava a new, less stressful home.
Vax not up to date, gets very stressed at vet and is indoor-only. Can provide records. Was up-to-date as of 2020.
Please call Jennifer at 216-716-0264 if interested in Ava.
There will be a small rehoming fee of $50 to be donated to PAWS Ohio.
