Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amelia is our sweet blue-eyed girl! This wonderful dog was rescued as a stray in Fresno and brought to FDR for a second chance at life in 2022. Since then, she has blossomed into a loving sweetheart with everyone she knows. She even has a boyfriend here named Vincent. Amelia is long overdue to find her forever family and enjoys walks with our fantastic team of volunteers.

With her silly mannerisms, coy demeanor, and sweet nature, it's impossible not to smile when spending time with her. She is a special dog, and we can't say enough about how much we adore her. Amelia will be an excellent companion in a home that is just as loving as she is.

*Remember, Northern Breeds have an intense prey drive. They are not suitable around cats, small dogs under 20 lbs, or other small animals.

Meet the Pet

Once your applicaton has been approved you will be invited to select a time to meet your potential pet.

We are looking for responsible, warm-hearted people to give our dogs the wonderful homes they deserve. Our adoption process is thorough but fast. We focus on making the best match between you and the right dog. To adopt, you will need to:

1. Complete the Adoption Application.
2. Meet the dog you want to adopt.
3. Show proof that you can have a dog in your home (lease, mortgage, letter from landlord).
4. Sign our Adoption Agreement and pay an Adoption Fee.

However we host regular adoption pop-ups at Pet Food Express Sonoma (Saturday's 11am-2pm) and on the first Sunday of the month can be found at Pet Food Express, 1975 Market Street, San Francisco.
