Meet Becka, affectionately known as Bex, a gentle 5-year-old Cavalier/Poodle mix with a loving heart and a soft, cuddly 20-pound frame. On a journey to her healthiest self, she's trimming down to a sleek 16 pounds with the help of a diet plan.
Bex is the epitome of a quiet achiever, blossoming a little more each day into the confident and joyful companion she was meant to be. While she may start off shy, her kindness knows no bounds, getting along fabulously with other dogs, peacefully coexisting with cats, and acing her kennel and potty training like a star. This sweet girl is not just any pup; she's a brave warrior battling IMHA with the grace and strength of a champion. Thanks to ongoing medication, she's thriving and living her best life, though she'll need continued care with an estimated monthly medication cost of $65-$75. Bex also has a mild heart murmur, but it's currently under watchful eyes and doesn't require medication.
We're looking for a hero for Bex, someone who sees the treasure beyond the treatment. Her adoption fee is a modest $150, and we're open to finding her perfect match, understanding that the right home is worth more than gold.
While her journey with IMHA means she hasn't been spayed yet, she's up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm prevention, de-worming, and microchipped, making her ready to start her next chapter in a loving home. Could you be the special someone Bex has been waiting for? She's patiently waiting in COLLEGE STATION, TX, for a family to embrace her with open arms and an open heart.
