My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

German Shepherd lovers, meet Jaeger! Loyal, energetic, and playful, Jaeger's personality is true to his breed. This handsome boy is house trained and does well in his crate when home alone. He loves to hang out with his family, has great leash manners, and knows several commands.

Jaeger has a commanding bark, but under that tough exterior is a sensitive, lovable boy who is often shy when first meeting new people. Once he warms up, he enjoys human affection and his endearing lopsided ears will win you over for life. He's good with female dogs when properly introduced, but because of his stature and strong personality, he doesn't do well with small children, cats, small dogs or male dogs. Jaeger would do best in a home with structure, patience, and love to give him the environment he should have received as a puppy. An ideal home would have experience handling his breed.

Jaeger is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations and heartworm negative. If you have any questions, email hhfrescue@gmail.com, and if you're interested in adopting, please complete an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/HHF-A-86.
